1958 Chevrolet Hood. this hood is nice and straight. it was stripped to bare metal on the outside surface. It had two small .22 bullet holes repaired at the nose. they were hammered, welded, hammered straight and skim coated. a couple of other very small dings were also repaired. Corners are nice and straight.
the hood was sprayed with a thin coat of urethane primer.
the underside has original undercoating on it, so it is in pretty good shape, it has very little rust, but there is some rust here and there. No pitting or cancer that I could see. It could use a new cover coat of undercoating to make it look decent on the underside.

As with any body part new or used, this hood will need a little more work to get finished out before paint. there may be small unseen flaws, but none to scoff over. it's a very good part to finish out.
we will do rust treatment and re coat of undercoating on the underside for free, if you desire, but you must ask for it, in the message box at check out or email message after purchase and payment.
otherwise it will be shipped as is.
